FDA Hesitant to OK Biogen, Elan Drugs

(AP) -- Federal health officials on Friday said they are hesitant to allow a drug made by Biogen Idec Inc. and Elan Corp. to be used to treat an intestinal disorder because of potentially fatal side effects.
