The Apple iPod Touch incorporates the features of iPhone to create a sleek and slim, music, TV, Web access and drive-in movie with the convenience of portability. The iPod Touch is only 8 millimeters wide with an amazing 3.5 inch screen. The iPod Touch gives a whole new meaning to, letting your fingers do the walking.

Similar to the features in Apple iPhone, the iPod Touch will be released on September 30, 2007. The iPod Touch has a range of services unavailable in the classic iPod. For one, iPod Touch has web access. It has a built in WiFi support feature. The Safari browser feature allows iPod Touch users to download music from a iTunes WiFi store. The sleek, 8mm width, iPod Touch comes in 8GB and 16GB.

The new iPod Touch gives a whole new meaning to letting your fingers do the walking. No click wheel to slow the user down. A single finger will navigate the user through all the touch screen features of the iPod Touch. Two fingers allow the user to pinch and fan, which in turns zooms the image or web page in or out.

The 3.5-inch display is another big feature of the iPod Touch. The tap of a finger will allow users to utilize a control screen to go wide screen or regular view. This feature gives the on-the-move user the benefits of a full view of web pages, TV episodes or movies. The amazing clarity of the screen, takes podcasts and music videos to a whole new level.

The You Tube fan was not overlooked in the new iPod Touch. There is a built in You Tube player in the iPod Touch. You Tube may be viewed on the road, bookmarked and saved. When not in use it is conveniently tucked away in your shirt pocket.

The music feature of the iPod Touch allows the user to see displays of album covers, tap it and the individual tracks are listed. This saves time and frustration when you know which song you want to hear and the album it is in, but cannot remember the exact title of the song. A finger tap later you are listening to the song that was running through your head.

The iPod Touch connects to any USB port of a Mac or PC using a dock connector. The charge time using the WiFi 802.11 b/g connection takes about three hours, but there are quick charges available. The ambient light feature allows the iPod Touch to adjust to the ambient light in your surroundings.

The accelerometer detects when the user is changing from portrait to a landscape view and automatically adjusts the contents of the display. Thus, the display is accurate and the view is sized in the correct format.

The new iPod Touch offers a little something extra that the classic iPod yearned for. The only thing better would be an iPod Touch 40GB.
