The Japanese electronic trade show Createc is taking place today and runs until October 6, 2007. A prototype wireless recharger created by the joint efforts of Seiko Epson and Murata Manufacturing LTD will be on display. The product will reduce standard charge time from one to two hours down to ten to 15 minutes.

The Japanese electronic trade show Createc starts October 2 and runs until October 6. The introduction of a prototype wireless recharger manufactured by Seiko Epson and Murata Manufacturing LTD is featured.

Recognizing the increased reliance on mobile devices and the significant amount of charge time utilized by more sophisticated graphic displays and programming, Seiko Epson and Murata Manufacturing joined forced. The focus of the R&D at this time was to develop a product that could decrease the time of one to two hours for recharging mobile devices to a fraction of the current time.

The result is the ultra-slim prototype currently on display at the Createc Trade Show in Japan. The yet unnamed prototype is a small compact wireless device that will reduce recharging time of one to two hours, down to 10 to 15 minutes. The additional unique feature is the universal wireless recharging unit that will obviate the need for a dedicated individual recharging unit. As the necessity for more frequent recharging become apparent this device has a quick and easy solution.

Both Seiko Epson and Murata Manufacturing have a solid history in the development of compact modules and circuitry that complemented one another. Seiko Epson is working on a lithium ion secondary battery. Its expertise in the development of a compact size module battery and circuitry combined with Murata Manufacturing's expertise in the development of IC for wireless quick charger battery systems proved to be a good synergy.

The release date to the public of this wireless quick recharger device is not available. The name and other details of the device are not available as well. The device will be on display at the Createc Trade Show until October 6, 2007.
