Unfortunately what this article leaves out is that the US has the largest growth in terms of number of people, based on it's own numbers, by a factor of two. With a population of 301M the US growth is over 45M, while #1 Denmark's 5.5M populous grew by about 1.5M. The only country that comes close to the growth of US is Japan (127M people) who increased about 23M residents. These numbers can still be misled if they are based on actual residents or households with a national average set of people in each. This article also misses the amount of capital spent to increase that many residents in an area the size of the US vs. South Korea which is slightly larger than the State of Indiana. The US is clearly working fast to proliferate broadband.
