AP and physorg have apparently been inhaling too much jenkem lately, and couldn't be bothered to do 5 minutes of fact checking on Google. If anyone is interested in the facts, search on wikipedia for bufotenin, and for bufo alvarius. Bottom line: the toad in question is bufo alvarius, you can squeeze 5-MeO-DMT out of it, dry it and smoke it, but its extremely potent, 5mg is a hero's dose. The disproven notion that bufotenin is psychoactive will probably linger for another several decades thanks to articles like this one. It needs to first be converted to calcium bufotenate as described in the article on Anadenanthera peregrina. South American indians figured this out centuries ago but apparently it is too complex for AP and phsyorg.
