(AP) -- Individual privacy is under threat around the world as governments continue introducing surveillance and information-gathering measures, according to an international rights group.

    The US isn't "near" the bottom, it's "at" the bottom. Privacy isn't being eroded here, it's already gone.

    Be sure to thank your congressman, preferably with a swift kick in the butt on his way out of office.

    "The List" now contains 750,000. Congress will let Bush Inc. get away with anything. I wonder if Congress would have an objection to DHS putting a barcode on our wrists.
