Why save documents in Word if they are going to lock you out in 10 years, what is the point. Actual paper documents are better since they last longer than 10 years at least you can depend on the technology and reliability of paper rather than some corporation's stupidity. I hate M$ if it were not for my gaming I would get rid of M$ in a heartbeat. I am hoping the gaming platform in Linux develops faster so I can once and for all flush M$ out of my computers forever.

The only security risk is continuing to use Window or any of MS Office apps. Preposterous and downright ballsy for Microsoft to talk about security given the security holes in Windows and their apps big enough to drive a truck through. Jeeeeez.
