ASUS Unveils World's First Terabyte Notebook at CES 2008

ASUS today unveiled the world's first one-terabyte notebook in collaboration with Hitachi Global Storage Technologies.

ASUS announced that the new Travelstar 5K500 (500 GB 2.5 Inch hard drive) from Hitachi has been integrated into the ASUS M series multimedia notebook PCs. The new ASUS M50 and M70 will ship with two of the Travelstar 5K500 to provide unprecedented storage capacity for high definition media and personal data.

The new M series of notebooks answers the demand for maximum storage in a small portal form factor.
