FDA Fines Red Cross Another $4.6 Million

(AP) -- The Food and Drug Administration has fined the Red Cross an additional $4.6 million for the distribution of "unsuitable blood products," bringing penalties against the organization to more than $19 million in recent years.

Most obvious question: How do the FDA square this response to the unfortunate but honest Red Cross with their refusal, over the past two decades to do anything about Bayer's deliberate dumping of HIV infected Factor 8 in Spain, France and Japan, where it killed thousands of Haemophiliacs...
