Oil Rigs Will Be Used to Measure Weather

(AP) -- Detailed weather and ocean measuring instruments will be mounted on seven oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Shell Oil Company said Wednesday.
