Neighbors Clash Over Trees, Solar Power

February 20, 2008 By TERENCE CHEA, Associated Press Writer

I think I'd side with the solar panel. There are plenty of trees that can fill the land area and clean the air just as well as a redwood that won't grow that tall. Plant a different tree.

Couldn't they mount the solar panels on the trees.

If you can spend 70 000 G's on solar panels, but don%u2019t have the brain to place it a save distance from any possible shade( even if the tree that could affect it is still not a threat, a.k.a "planning ), our planet is doomed, doomed through stupidity of people like Mark Varga.

I'd say solar panels, built into a lithium silicate based ceramic housing, which would both;create electricity AND absorb CO2!

I would cut down the trees and put nice tall solar panels in their place.

I think that guy needs to calculate how much energy went into making those solar panels before he makes any claims about their use in deferring carbon emissions.
