Texas may claim Amazon owes sales taxes

(AP) -- Texas officials may claim that Amazon.com owes millions in sales taxes on purchases that state residents made from the Internet retailer.

    1. Amazon should immediately move their distribution center out of Texas. Texas should love that.
    2. If you didn't collect it you don't have to pay it. Otherwise Texas is imposing a tax on Amazon income which is illegal in Texas (no state income tax) and in the US (states can not tax income on businesses located in other states.)
