(AP) -- The Nintendo DS isn't just fun and games anymore for English students at Tokyo's Joshi Gakuen all-girls junior high school. The portable video game console is now being used as a key teaching tool, breaking with traditional Japanese academic methods.

    i hope they come out with a version targeted to native chinese speakers who want to learn english. That way, i can give it my students here in china who always ask how to improve their spoken english. i never have a good answer because television programming and movies are not always about dialogue, and comic books in english are not very available here.

    Anyway, come to think of it, i would like something like this to help me learn chinese.
