July 1, 2008 iPhone

(AP) -- AT&T Inc. will sell the new version of the iPhone without a service contract for $400 more than the price with a two-year plan, a break from the rules set when Apple Inc.'s popular touch-screen gadget debuted last year.

People who like science also tend to like electronics. So, while it annoys some people, it makes others happy. Can't please all the people all the time...

Is it just me or is AT&T destroying the iPhone? I still won't buy one so long as I have to use AT&T's horrible customer service.
