Gates, Bloomberg pool riches to fight smoking

(AP) -- Microsoft founder Bill Gates and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg are pooling their piles of money to pour $375 million into a global effort to cut smoking.

All right Gates! A charity that's a something more than "rah-rah politically correct with the Seattle social set". Tackling a problem with substantial lobbying opponents -- that's taking on a challenge worth your skills!
