House passes bill to regulate tobacco
July 31st, 2008 By RICARDO ALONSO-ZALDIVAR , Associated Press Writer(AP) -- The House on Wednesday overwhelmingly passed legislation that for the first time would subject the tobacco industry to regulation by federal health authorities charged with promoting public well-being.

Although I can't help but notice the irony here, as Al Gore's family fortunes were made entirely from tobacco, so a veto would help him the most. Kinda makes you wonder about the true democracy of America.
