More women are having fewer children, if at all
August 19th, 2008(AP) -- More women in their early 40s are childless, and those who are having children are having fewer than ever before, the Census Bureau said Monday.

That is a scary statistic. 43% of new babies are born to an unemployed mother? That sounds incredibly high, yet not suprising. I'd like to know their criteria for for 'unemployed', or the percentage of babies born below the poverty line or into welfare systems. I know they said 1/4 of the mothers were below the poverty line, but from my observation, most (NOT ALL) of them tend to have lots of babies.
