Groups: Bush rushing to rewrite species rules

(AP) -- The Bush administration is providing insufficient time for public comment as it seeks to loosen rules protecting endangered species, representatives of more than 100 conservation groups charged Friday.

    Why doesn't he just try to repeal the Endangered Species Act altogether? Seriously, what good would the Endangered Species Act do if it can't protect endangered species? I hate this sneaky business Bush has got going on. First trying to do this under the radar, now trying to prevent any public discussion.

    On the other hand, the Endangered Species Act has been used to protect species that aren't endangered.
