Broadcom co-founder apologizes after plea deal

(AP) -- Broadcom Corp. co-founder Henry Samueli has apologized for lying to the Securities and Exchange Commission during its probe of stock options backdating at the chip maker.

Cheated and lost, everything is forfeit. Them's the rules bub. You don't "accidentally" misprice stock options and you don't "accidentally" lie to the SEC.
