Feds warn climate change could harm giant sequoias

By GARANCE BURKE , Associated Press Writer, Space & Earth science / Environment

At 2900 years old, some of these trees have lived through atleast three warm periods and one very cold period. As for warming 3 to 10 Deg F,we are now back to 1980's temps and falling,so from what baseline? Also what research as opposed to Playstation predictions forecasts 10 deg rise?

Dosen't really matter sequoias are the last surviving megaflora. They'll most likely outlast us, unless we cut our carbon emissions, because they won't have enough carbon to replenish their enormous usage of the material.
