Microsoft deploying in-store customer-service reps

(AP) -- As part of its new $300 million marketing campaign and image makeover, Microsoft Corp. plans to deploy its own customer-service representatives at retailers like Best Buy and Circuit City to help people with their PC purchases.

    I think that what Microsoft is doing is a joke!. Microsoft has not produced anything stable in the past few years. I am a computer, network, and server technician and I am studying for my Linux certification. In my view Linux is way more stable than Microsoft Windows will ever be.

    What Microsoft should do is forget about the sales help and stick on working for a product that's more stable.

    Then again, that's just my IT opinion.
