Toshiba´s 400GB USB 2.0 External HDD

Toshiba Storage Device Division has announced a 400GB USB 2.0 external drive with 8MB buffer. This drive weights only 6 ounces and measures 5 inches high, 3.2 inches wide and .65 inches thick.

The 400GB HDD has a 8Mb buffer and features NTI Shadow backup software that will eliminate the need to initiate a backup by selecting a icon or clicking on a button.

Setup is accomplished by plugging in the drive into a USB 2.0 port and installing the software. All data file, digital photos, music, movies, and document are backed up and protected and also portable.

The NTI Shadow software operates in the background capturing and updating files without human intervention.

The drive is powered by the USB port on your computer eliminating the need for external power. The 400 GB HDD includes a USB cable and is compatible with Windows XP/Vista or Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.

The Toshiba 400GB external HDD will be available in blue, green, red, or gray colors and should ship in October.

Yeah this is just like the ads you see now in forums that are put inline with peoples posts that are made to look like some one posting, you automatically start to read it until you realize what it is. Is Physorg affiliated with Toshiba in some way?
