(AP) -- A new Japanese mobile phone will automatically unlock the doors of its owners' cars and let drivers start their engines without using an ignition key.

Remote control, already done...
42" tv, already in the works with projectors...
light switches, done...
front door locks, done...
pets, done...
Telephone, sorry, your battery is dead from watching video streams all day.
I officially use my phone less for talking than I do for other things (text, email, web...), so should it really be called a phone anymore?
I think it's funny that Japan makes such nice cars while they are a country where few people drive, and we have more cars than drivers but produce generic crap.
With this feature I hope they make it as secure as the IC wireless credit cards...
