    It may be small but the technology in it is nowhere near impressive as average laptops. My IT Technician friend uses one for dianostics and storeage when out fixing/configuring computers/networks and he says its slow, even for that.

    I love my 701 EEE PC. It is not a laptop. It is not a gaming machine(although some have played quake on it).

    It is an easy way to browse online, read PDFs, edit word documents, and by far the easiest way to take a computer with you where you go.

    I almost didn't buy it knowing that more and better Netbooks would roll around quickly, but I love my EEE-PC.

    Also with minimal effort hdsc cards are bootable and can make for all kinds of fun.

    I'll buy another one in another year or two, especially if one of the 3.5G or 4G technologies comes to fruition in my area.
