Now in the next decade or so we will find out exactly how this will affect 25% of childbearing females since they were given this vaccine after only one year of testing just as they were entering puberty. We just can't leave anything alone, can we?

I'm planning to remain abstinent until marriage, which means I'll be waiting to get the shot until we know what harmful effects it might have. It's idiotic that some schools are *requiring* Gardasil for 11- and 12-year-olds! "I wanna be one less" lemming who gets the shot way before she should be thinking about being sexually active.

Health officials recommendation is not a requirement. It's totally up to the teen's parents to decide whether their kids are gonna get the shots or not.

Guardasil isn't a cancer vaccine. It is a vaccine for four sexually transmitted variants of the over sixty variants of human papilloma virus, and is not 100% effective.

It is also a BIG money maker for its producer.

However, there is a 100% effective method of preventing sexually transmitted disease. And it's quite simple- don't screw around! I only wish my ex-wife had not brought HPV home to me.

So perhaps we should require all females to receive Guardasil, if for no other reason than to protect men.
