NComputing gets large low-cost PC deal in India

(AP) -- A Silicon Valley company is claiming a major victory in its efforts to sell computers to schools that might otherwise be enticed by low-cost laptops such as the green-and-white XO from One Laptop Per Child or Intel Corp.'s Classmate PC.

Far more effective than OLPC. Children in developing countries don't need to carry a laptop around with them everywhere they go. Building a hub like this seems far cheaper per person and far more effective overall.
