A COMPREHENSIVE ENERGY POLICY HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE IN THIS COUNTRY. AS LONG AS WE ARE DEPENDANT ON O.P.E.C. WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE FOR A SOUND AND HEALTHY LONG TERM ECONOMY. THIS ISSUE WILL DEFINE YOUR PRESIDENCY.

Hard lessons have already been learned and Congressional victories will be hard won. Compromises were to be expected given the "beltway culture". I am distressed, however, with the "exceptions" being made so early in your administration with regard to lobbyist being included in your administration. If this is not "business as usual" I don't know what is. I totally supported your candidacy and worked for your election. Please do not erode the faith that the American public placed in you; surely there are qualified individuals in our country that are not tainted.
