Report: Greenhouse gases imperil oceans' web of life
November 10th, 2008 By Renee SchoofCorals, lobsters, clams and many other ocean creatures - including some at the bottom of the food chain - may be unable to withstand the increasing acidity of the oceans brought on by growing global-warming pollution, according to a report Tuesday from the advocacy group Oceana.

Last I checked a ph lower than 7 was the scientific standard for acidic.
At no point in time does he state that the oceans are NOT becomming more acidic. He states there isn't enough Carbon on the planet to bring us below a ph of 7.
