Leonardo was moved from Space Shuttle Endeavour's cargo bay and linked to the station on Monday Nov. 17, 2008 carrying two water recovery systems racks for recycling urine into potable water, a second toilet system, new gallery components, two new food warmers, a food refrigerator, an experiment freezer, combustion science experiment rack, two separate sleeping quarters and a resistance exercise device that allows station crewmembers to perform a variety of exercises.. (AP) -- Astronauts hope they have a solution for getting a pivotal piece of equipment working so it can convert urine and sweat into drinkable water and allow the international space station to grow to six crew members.

"Astronauts Try to Work out Kinks in Urine Machine"

I would never in my wildest dreams have imagined this headline when NASA was in it's heyday.

Things didn't always go as planned for early sea going explorers either! But what they learned allows routine crossings over all of the Earth's water in our time now.
The first steps into space have to start somewhere yes????
Cheers to NASA and al the crews that fly out into space! Thank You!

a centrifuge that dosen't work in zero gravity, imagine that. I can just Picture all the water/urine floating in the middle with the tub spinning fast as heck. Hey NASA, something has to trap the simi-H2o and force it held to the sides while the solids are settled and removed.
