Anybody who are against stem cell researches, please put up your hand and swear to God that you would never ever use any medical treatments that is remotedly connected to advances in stem cell researches...anyone? Please put your lives where your mouth are, thankyou very much.

The main argument is that life begins at conception - that once fertilization occurred in the lab, so did a human being.

This argument is seriously flawed. Life does not begin at conception, life began billions of years ago. Both egg and sperm cells are very much alive.

Of course trying to save all of them is absurd, especially considering the number of sperm cells males produce - even if every human egg produced were to be used the shortage would be astronomical (that particular sperm cells from which we came from were *INCREDIBLY* lucky).

Superhuman, you are absolutely right. A bit off the topic: I am also amazed at the level of redundancies built into the conception process...millions and millions of sperms just for one egg...I wonder if the Creator is sexist or not..??!!, or He/She realized the sperms are imperfect creations so compensating schemes must be made??? (This will give those proponents of God as omnipotent an epiphany!) :-D

Apparently, as of by today, the stem cells research protesters values their lives more than their principles!

I'll give the stem cells research protesters a week to consider their stand, whether to stick to their principles and flame me, or shut up permanently without the guilt of hypocrites.
