Tests find chemical leaches from 'safe' products

Products marketed for infants or billed as "microwave safe" release toxic doses of the chemical bisphenol A when heated, an analysis by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has found.

    Since adults eat many more times the food than babies AND adults eat many more items which are microwaved what are the effects on adults?

    "In what is believed to be the first analysis of its kind by a newspaper, the Journal Sentinel found that an average 1-month-old girl is exposed to the same amount of BPA that caused mammary gland changes in mice. Those same changes in humans can lead to breast cancer. "


    Good thing that humans are quite a bit larger than mice.

    Not saying that there isn't a problem with BPA but statements like the above make me wonder about the veracity of other statements made in this article.
