Which means a hail of nuclear weapons on Isreal is not too far behind.

Iranian fundamentalist government leaders are not interested in space exploration. They're interested in space exploitation as a weapons platform.

I doubt that Iran would attack Israel with such incriminating technology. If they were to attack they would use a delivery method that wouldn't immediately point to the most advanced Muslim nation in the Mid East.

You mean Saudi Arabia? Or Yemen, or UAE? or maybe even Iraq?

Iran is one of the most technologically limited nations, just because they have the biggest rockets doesn't mean they have the best rockets.

You can tell dumb Americans are leaving comments here. The USA often forget that unlike Iran, they have nuclear weapons and invade countries at will. Americans launch satellites into space monthly. All this is OK, but as soon as Iran wants to launch a rocket into space for scientific research they are "condemned" by the US.

To all Americans out there, you do realize that other countries on this planet have scientific interest and communities like you? Here's something you might not even know, they have McDonalds in Iran to, and hamburgers and cars. I herd they even have TV!

I blame Physorg for putting in North Korea into the same story and mixing politics. This is a site about science, not politics.

That's because our country isn't run by religious fundamentalist psychopaths who've SAID THEMSELVES that they're going to "wipe Isreal off the map".

You sure can tell dumb pro-islamofascists are leaving comments here.

When Americans attend religious services we're not ordered to decimate the western infidel by our theological leaders.

And on the off chance that we are, we string up that theological leader.

i went to one of my old favorite websites.
http://meyerweb.c...sim.html]http://meyerweb.c...sim.html

there is a preset for new york and other cities.

none for tel aviv. SO....put in these numbers for lat/longitude.
35.00000, 31.9

and put in 1500 kilotons. (1.5 megatons---a good size nuke but not crazy. )

and also scroll out.

http://meyerweb.c...sim.html]http://meyerweb.c...sim.html

a 1.5 megaton nuke would destory 90% of all of israels population at this location ( inlluding the radio burns that kill within a few days not on impact). nukes are real! and they kill. never forget hiroshima and nagasaki. scary stuff right?

Nice one zevkirsh, however the link you provided wasn't shown properly. I also adjusted the coordinates as I'm sure the nuke would be sent more in the direction of the TelAviv.

http://meyerweb.c...sim.html

Longitude / Latitude :
34.88, 32.02

----------------------------------
There was somewhere (Physorg?NewScientist?) an article about the possibility of sending a nuke into space and detonating it over the US territory, somewhere high in the atmosphere. That would literally shut down every electrical device in the US.
I'm sure Iranian government know that any act of agression would mean total anihilation form Israel.. at the end the amount of nukes and the speed of sending them is what counts the most (isn't it true?).

Question you have to ask is do they really care? There are plenty of them willing to blow themselves up to get a few hundred Jews...what lengths you think they'd go to to get millions.
