    The NOAA press release is totally contradicted by a Florida State University release entitled "Where have the northern hemisphere tropical cyclones gone the last two years?"

    what part of "above normal" don't you guys understand? may you should have learnt to read.

    The number of hurricanes go up and down in cycles. We've just finished the low end of the cycle and the number of storms are rising, as has been predicted.
