FDA sets melamine standard for baby formula (Update)

(AP) -- Less than two months after federal food regulators said they were unable to set a safety threshold for the industrial chemical melamine in baby formula, they announced a standard that allows for higher levels than those found in U.S.-made batches of the product.

Yeah! Our products only contain 90% of a lethal dose, its safe!
For the many infants brought up on and weaned off baby formula containing these chemicals it is a little late for never. The experiment of exposure continues.
