    What a magnificent return on this science experiment. I tell the kids about it when I do speaking engagements in the schools. With the activities going on in schools these days we are making inroads to inspiring more engineers that we need for the future experiments to come. Manned missions too. Great article.

    This has been a great scientific feat but some of the pictures published are NOT "desert", as NASA et al would like us to continue to believe, but clearly mud fields with water flowing between photographs;

    Dry, moist, and wet sand on Mars just like when you were a kid at the beach.

    It's great to see NASA/JPL lurkers ranking my previous comment a "1" in spite of their own images showing the effects of liquid water.
