    It's actually a 'spot adjustable' (Area brightness) LED backlight system, you ninnys.

    This means it's a 1,000,000 to 1 contrast ratio device at the same time.

    So, we are talking about a combination of the thinnest AND brightest, with highest contrast range and fidelity of image.

    Good luck beating that combination.
