    Absolutely great, now we can happily grow corn in Africa. What a bad news for the angry French farmers.

    It's hard to keep the sarcasm away.

    I'm sick of hearing how Monsanto will solve all our problems when we all know very well that the problem isn't in the scarcity of fertile land, but in the economy that forces food producing to happen in the poorest parts of the world that usually don't have the best climate for agriculture.

    From that point of view, Monsanto is only going to solve its financial problems. Nothing more.
