This was a feature I wished had been incorporated earlier instead of the sky feature since there were already programs which would allow the viewing of stars readily available.

But I must say that there is so much fawning over Gore in this article that it is that it is sicking. Is the writer of this news piece so enamored with Gore like some teenage girl over a teen idol that they are incapable of writing something less nauseating. And why isn't the name of the writer or writers listed.

I love how it installs Google Chrome in the backgroud without giving you any option of not installing it..

I hope it's updated more often than the rest of Google Earth. Google Earth still shows my car parked in my parents driveway from when I was 20. It's very out of date in some areas.

In order for this to be indicative of anything related to climate change it would have to be updated probably in the area of yearly, which most likely won't happen due to cost and logistics.

It is certainly a nifty thing to check out though, and too bad about the stealth Chrome install.
