I live in China. My roommate went to a bear bile farm. It wasnt planned. The tour guide took them there after a tedious trip to Changbai Mountain on the border of North Korea and Jilin Province. They stopped at all the merchandise sites, and not at the scenic sites, and they often left them at places where the food was expensive, and just said, "Hey, do you wanna come inside? Its warm in here!" He was already upset, but then when they got to the bear bile farm, he said he really felt so terrible. It finished him off and he was really sullen after that. He said they are on their backs the whole time with tubes sticking out of their stomachs, and the cages are very small. They looked very miserable, he said.
