-- MEXICO: Epicentre of the swine flu outbreak with 15 confirmed deaths so far. The government says there are an additional 328 confirmed cases of the disease. The World Health Organisation lists 156 confirmed cases with nine deaths.
-- THE UNITED STATES: The United States is the second country to have a confirmed swine flu death. The number of confirmed cases of swine flu in the United States stands at 118 spread across 15 states. The WHO lists 109 cases with one fatality.
-- CONFIRMED INFECTIONS: According to figures from the national authorities the United States has 118, Mexico 328, Canada 35, Germany 5, Britain 10, Israel 2, New Zealand 4, Spain 13, Austria 1, Costa Rica 2, Netherlands 1, Switzerland 1, Denmark 1, Hong Kong 1
