WEB SITE TO RAISE MONEY FOR MINN. CANCER PATIENT (AP) -- A Web site has been set up to raise money for the family of the 13-year-old Minnesota cancer patient who fled with his mother in violation of a court order. An attorney for the family of Daniel Hauser says the Web site - http://www.dannyhauser.com/ - also will allow Daniel to communicate with people. Family attorney Calvin Johnson says he has no estimate of the family's legal or medical bills. Daniel had an appointment Wednesday with a pediatric oncologist in Minneapolis. He also has an appointment to receive a round of chemotherapy Thursday. Daniel and his mother returned to Minnesota on Monday after almost a week on the run. The family prefers so-called natural healing practices to treat the boy's growing tumor caused by Hodgkin's lymphoma. ©2009 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
