NTT DoCoMo, Inc. announced today the development of the 3G FOMA 901iS series, five handsets equipped for mobile-wallet e-money, ticketing and other handy mobile smart-card functions.

In the event that a 901iS phone is misplaced, for example, the owner can call a designated phone number to lock the phone remotely. It can also be programmed to lock automatically if left unused for a specified period. In addition, it can be locked manually by simply pushing a button.
