Swales Aerospace and Aavid Thermalloy to Develop Advanced Cooling Systems
Aavid Thermalloy and Swales Aerospace announced today that the companies have formed a strategic alliance to pursue new commercial opportunities for electronic cooling applications utilizing Swales' industry-leading Loop Heat Pipe technologies. This new initiative stems from work jointly begun in October 2000 by Aavid and Swales to develop and manufacture advanced cooling solutions for applications in the electronics industry. Under the agreement, the companies will develop, manufacture and market technology-based thermal management solutions for digital and power electronics.
