Professor reviews linked to book-swap site
August 24, 2005SwitchTextbooks.com has launched a new venture that allows college students nationwide to peruse ratings of various professors.
RateMyProfessors.com will operate as a free service in conjunction with SwitchTextbooks.com and will act as a potential gateway for users of the textbook network.
RateMyProfessors was acquired recently by the textbook site's founders. It has a database of nearly 4 million student critiques of 570,000 professors and instructors across the United States and Canada.
SwitchTextbooks.com says it allows students to legally swap online textbooks at prices below publishers and campus bookstores.
