In Brief: TDC updates security for digital signature

May 5, 2006

TDC released an update of its software to remove vulnerabilities and make it easier to use its other applications.

The Danish telecommunications group said vulnerabilities have been detected several times in its Digital Signature program in relation to Windows-based Internet software but pointed out that updating the software would easily eliminate the problem.

"All users should make the update just as they update their computers when Microsoft or others release updates," Per Rasmussen, vice president of TDC online, said in a news release.

The update is available on the Internet at opdatering.tdc.dk. From now on TDC sends e-mails to all holders of Digital Signature with instructions as how to make the update.
