ISS crew ready for cargo craft's arrival
Now in their third month in space, Expedition 13 Commander Pavel Vinogradov and Flight Engineer Jeff Williams will monitor the Progress 22 supply spacecraft as it automatically docks at the station about 12:30 p.m. EDT.
The astronauts plan a televised news conference Tuesday morning to discuss their final preparations for the arrival of Space Shuttle Discovery, scheduled to be launched July 1.
The Progress cargo craft, the 22nd to visit the station, is to be launched Saturday from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan and will carry approximately 5,000 pounds of supplies for the ISS.
Both the news conference and Progress 22's docking will be broadcast live on NASA TV.
