JAPAN INTERNET PHONES TO GO MOBILE BY 2007 The Japanese government will allow Internet-based phones to become mobile by 2007, a daily reported Thursday. The Nihon Keizai Shimbun said the government's efforts will allow users to benefit from optic-fiber connections that allow cheaper and clearer connectivity both at home and on-the-go. The Nikkei also pointed out that by allowing Internet-based phone lines to go mobile, cell-phone users will be able to have faster connections and watch television while out and about as clearly as they would in front of a television set.
