EarthLink adds call block to VoIP service

October 17, 2005

EarthLink has upgraded its Voice over Internet Protocol service so that more phone numbers can be stored and as many as 10 numbers can be blocked.

The Atlanta ISP announced Monday that its trueVoice service is aimed a making the VoIP experience as user-friendly as possible for subscribers who are anxious to save money over conventional telephone services but don't want to put up with unwanted calls or voice messages.

The changes also allow integration of the user's address book with the VoIP service.
