RateMyProfessors.com ranks within the top 1,000 Internet properties, the company said Thursday.

The collegiate Web site RateMyProfessors.com reports that ComScore Networks has ranked them 923. The free Web site offers a public review of university professors across the United States and Canada. Every semester millions of college students use RateMyProfessors.com to determine their class schedules. The site has been online for six years.

Patrick Nagle, COO of the company, said, "The attention we're receiving from the industry is truly remarkable."

CEO Will DeSantis said, "We firmly believe in brand recognition and simplicity. RateMyProfessors.com will remain a free service to our 8,000,000 (plus) users. Our company's goal is to make RMP (RateMyProfessors.com) more helpful and visible than ever. RateMyProfessors.com has yet to reach its pinnacle; we've merely scratched the surface."
