Briefs: New World creates POP in Florida market
New World Network will establish a Point of Presence on Terremark's Tier-1 Internet exchange serving the Florida market.
The multi-year deal facilitates New World and its parent, Columbus Communications, in its expansion in the Latin American market by providing seamless IT service into the Florida telecom hub.
New World operates the Americas Regional Caribbean Optical-ring System, better known as ARCOS, which provides undersea fiber-optic linkage for the Caribbean, the United States and most of Latin America.
